Necessary. These are required for the operation of the website and for storing your cookie choices, and are always active. No tracking takes place.
Statistics. Anonymous audience measurement with Matomo on the instance of our technical service provider (analytics.web-werk.at, servers located in Austria; cookieless, IP address truncated, no data shared with third parties). If enabled, it is only loaded after you have given your consent. Matomo is currently not active.
External media & services. Third-party content – interactive maps (Paznaun-Ischgl, Google Maps) and our booking system (Casablanca). These are only loaded after you have actively enabled them (consent or clicking “Load content”). In doing so, your IP address, among other data, is transmitted to the respective provider.
Consent storage (localStorage): Your choices in the cookie banner are stored exclusively locally in your browser (entry castel_consent) so that you are not asked again on every visit. No transmission, no tracking, no expiry date (until you delete it).
Contact form protection (server-side): To prevent spam and abuse, the inquiry form uses an HMAC-signed time token as well as an IP-based rate limit; your IP address is processed exclusively in hashed/truncated form. No cookies are set in your browser for this purpose.
Matomo (anonymous): cookieless audience measurement with truncated IP address on the instance of our processor Web-Werk (analytics.web-werk.at, Austria); dedicated site ID used only for this website. Currently not in use.
Paznaun-Ischgl maps: interactive maps provided by the Paznaun – Ischgl tourism board (maps.paznaun-ischgl.com).
Google Maps: map fallback provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Casablanca (booking system): online booking widget (frontend.casablanca.at) provided by Casablanca hotelsoftware GmbH.
Note: Guest reviews are displayed on our website purely statically/locally (no third-party widget, no data transmission). Only clicking a platform link (e.g. Google, Booking, Tripadvisor) takes you to the respective platform.
On your first visit, we show you a notice with the equally weighted options “Accept all”, “Necessary only” and “Settings”. Non-essential services are only loaded after your active consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future – via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. In addition, you can manage or delete the local entry or cookies via your browser settings.
