About us – Hotel Castel in Ischgl
The Hotel Castel is a house with heart and history – run by the Kurz family. For generations, our family has stood for genuine Tyrolean hospitality, personal service and a special sense for the wishes of our guests.
For us, the Castel is not just a hotel, but a place where we live our understanding of hospitality, cordiality and quality.
Quiet location at the entrance to the village, just a few minutes’ walk to the cable cars, personal service from the first hello to the last espresso.
Then
Newly opened in winter 1995/96 – a hotel that, from the very beginning, stood for warm
hospitality and a love for the mountains.
Today
Completely rebuilt after the 2005 flood and expanded in 2011/12 with the Castello – Restaurant · Café · Bar · Bistro – and a wellness area. In 2025, the expansion continued with new rooms. Modern amenities and hosts who still know their guests by name.

Here you will find answers about your stay at the Hotel Castel Ischgl – from arrival and departure to breakfast & wellness to cancelation and payment.
Rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure we ask you to check out by 11:00 am. Later departures are possible after consultation.
Cancellation conditions as per AGBH 2006 apply:
– up to 3 months prior to arrival: free of charge
– 3–1 month prior to arrival: 40%
– 1 month–1 week prior to arrival: 70%
– in the last week: 90%
Cash payment, EC card and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard).
Yes, we recommend that you take out Travel & Cancellation Insurance to cover any possible costs in the event of cancellation.
Daily from 07:45 to 22:00. If you have any questions, requests or concerns, our team will be happy to help you at any time.
The main entrance door is locked from 23:00. Please take your keycard with you. The night entrance is at the side of the house (access via the outside staircase).
Only approx. 550 m to the cable cars into the Silvretta Arena – the quick entry into the Ischgl-Samnaun ski area.
