The Hotel Castel is a house with heart and history – run by the Kurz family. For generations, our family has stood for genuine Tyrolean hospitality, personal service and a special sense for the wishes of our guests.

Our story
Newly opened in winter 1995/96 – a hotel that, from the very beginning, stood for warm hospitality and a love for the mountains.
Completely rebuilt after the 2005 flood and expanded in 2011/12 with the Castello – Restaurant · Café · Bar · Bistro – and a wellness area. In 2025, the expansion continued with new rooms. Modern amenities and hosts who still know their guests by name.
Targeted investments in comfort, sustainability, and regional quality – so that genuine Tyrolean hospitality endures, but always evolves with the times.
With us, holidays are personal. We take time for your wishes, give tips on tours & huts and create an atmosphere where you’ll want to stay longer.
